IN DEN STRASSEN / IN THE STREETS

Auf der Straße zu fotografieren, ist für mich ein spannender Kontrast zum konzeptionellen Arbeiten, bei dem die Idee und die formale Umsetzung im Zentrum stehen. Beobachten, spontan sein, den Moment erkennen und festhalten ist dagegen eine völlig andere Herangehensweise, die oft zu überraschenden Bildern führt.

For me, taking pictures on the street is an exciting contrast to conceptual work, where the idea and formal implementation are the focus. In contrast, observing, being spontaneous, recognizing and capturing the moment is a completely different approach that often leads to surprising images.
